The original issue with the dryer is that a corner of the lint screen was sticking out of the lint screen guide, and it would not stay flush with the guide. I replaced the warped cover guide and the lint filter. Now it works perfect! Sears was going to charge $100 just to diagnose the well known problem, not including parts and labor. It only requires 4 screws(i used the old ones). Easy fix. Read more

Remove upper and lower baskets for access. Remove 4 Torx screws holding drain/filter assembly, accessing last screw by rotating the water duct clockwise. Be sure to first un-clip the water duct at top and rear of dishwasher so that it can be moved. (Take the opportunity to remove accumulated deposits behind the water duct). I have order three parts, guide filter, cover guide, and sensor assembly. My previous cover guide was from two parts, when sensor assembly was one of them. New part ( guide cover ) was all in one piece so I just transfer old metal part of sensor to new cover guide and I don't need that sensor assembly anymore. We had a problem of lint building up inside of the filter slot. Once I took a long brush and cleaned the recess where the filter slides I was able to see that the old filter was not catching all the lint. Upon closer examination I noticed that the seal around the filter had become compressed. that's when I order another filter from AppliancePartsPros.com. This was actually one of the easiest fixes I’ve done. All that was required was to remove 3 screws to remove the broken part. I used a pair of pliers to remove the moisture sensors from the broken part to the new one. Read more

Ordered a new screen and filter. While waiting for arrival, removed wax covered dishes. Carefully removed wax filled filter and screen cover. Stuffed paper towels in hole to absorb water and prevent wax from entering pump. Prayed ????wax had not entered pump. With plastic knife removed visible wax. Wiped out with paper towels. Used entire roll. Used hair dryer to melt remaining wax and wiped every inch of racks, wheels, glides, silverware holder, seal, floor and so forth. Oh yes I did. At 1:30... Read more
