Fix F9 error code or oven not heating issues. This thermal safety thermostat monitors temperature to prevent overheating. DIY repair in 15-60 minutes.
Looked online. Others said to start with the thermostat because its cheap and easy to fix, so I did. The thermostat is located at the rear of the oven on the back. You need to remove a total of 3 panels to get to it. Do not confuse it with the thermal sensor at the rear of the oven on top. My thermostat was clearly deformed, and I had never run a self clean like other with testify to. Simply replace it - easy. Oven worked like new. Read more

If your large burner won't heat or stay at the right temperature, the element switch likely needs replacement. Simple 10-15 minute repair with a screwdriver.
You have to take the knob off the broken part, then buy the new switch element and fix it. To do this you turn the power off, take out 6 fasteners to release the front panel of the stove and replace the switch element. Then put it all back together. Very simple. But if the knob was designed better it would not have broken in the first place. It looks nice, but this is the third time I have had to fix one. Read more

Oven not broiling or browning food? The broil element provides high heat at the top of the oven. Simple 5-10 minute DIY fix with basic tools.
Would advise before doing this repair to watch the video for it. It is not a plug in connection anymore like older ovens. The key is to keep the connecting wires from the oven from falling or pulling into the inner wall of the oven. The wires may not come very far out away from the wall of the oven so make sure to secure them. The video shows a good way to do that. If you have an in wall oven this is very important because it would hard and time consuming to pull the oven out of the wall to... Read more

The screw that held the old ignighter was frozen into the old burner such that just the ignighter could not be replaced. Be care full removing the screws to the burner as they also may be frozen and tend to snap off instead of unscrewing. You will need to drill an tap new holes. Read more
