Removed the defective burner labeled the leads as to their location and coil connections. Replaced the connections to the corresponding locations, 1 to 1, 2 to 2 and the bridged terminal as it was. My 18+ year old Jennair cooktop, PN CCG2520W was in need of a rebuild b/c of a welded venturi tube on the right front [RF] burner. In order to remove the glass top cover, you MUST remove the venturi tube. To do this you have to DRILL-OUT the venturi tube which requires a new venturi and orifice holder. • Doesn't shut off

Looked online. Others said to start with the thermostat because its cheap and easy to fix, so I did. The thermostat is located at the rear of the oven on the back. You need to remove a total of 3 panels to get to it. Do not confuse it with the thermal sensor at the rear of the oven on top. My thermostat was clearly deformed, and I had never run a self clean like other with testify to. Simply replace it - easy. Oven worked like new. Read more

• Oven not heating evenly

Ordered new screws and door gasket. Replaced the old door gasket now the oven warms up faster and bakes the stuff easier. Replaced the missing door trim screws. Now the door close without making noises. Read more

I replaced the old burner with the new burner assembly which included the ignighter. The screw that held the old ignighter was frozen into the old burner such that just the ignighter could not be replaced. Be care full removing the screws to the burner as they also may be frozen and tend to snap off instead of unscrewing. You will need to drill an tap new holes. Read more

Would advise before doing this repair to watch the video for it. It is not a plug in connection anymore like older ovens. The key is to keep the connecting wires from the oven from falling or pulling into the inner wall of the oven. The wires may not come very far out away from the wall of the oven so make sure to secure them. The video shows a good way to do that. • Little to no heat when baking

Replaced ingniter. Unlike some of the repair videos I saw, I could do everything by removing the lower draw, and in fact access from the back of the stove was not an option on my Amana. Pulling the stove out and fussing around turned a likely ten minute job in to a twenty minute. Unit work great, now I just need to keep tabs on the broiler igniter, which may be on the way out as well. Read more

Turned stove breaker off in the main breaker box and also unplugged the oven from the 220 outlet. pulled the baking racks out of the oven and proceeded to locate the 1/4 screws just above the bake element where it passes through the metal wall and removed them. pulled the element forward until the wires were exposed and unplugged them and then attached the new element to the wires and reinstalled in reverse order.
