Whirlpool Door, Door Glass & Parts

We found a video on how to change out the glass and looked fairly easy. My husband, being the skeptic that he is, wasn't on board as readily as I was but we tried it regardless. To his surprise in about 30 minutes we did it! So easy and a big thanks to Appliances Parts Pros for the part. We had the new part in 1 1/2 days...I was expecting it to be delivered in 5 days! Don't bend the glass even a little! I made the mistake of laying mine on the handle face down when reinstalling the handle because the screws fell out and I bent the glass slightly when tightening the screws. I ordered the part from AppliancePartsPros.com. I received the part quickly; unscrewed the old door removed it and popped on the new door part and screwed it in. It took no more than 30 minutes to replace. I saved at least $300 dollars if I had to replace the whole microwave. Read more

Due to unknown cause, while cooking dinner one evening, the front glass of the oven completely fractured. Sounded like a small gunshot then there was glass everywhere. 3 screws on inside edge of door, then pried it off gently. Removed and cleaned the glass and put it in the new door frame. Put the new frame on the door. Read more
