Description

The door seal forms the primary gasket around the door opening on horizontal-axis machines, creating a tight barrier that keeps contents contained and prevents gaps that can lead to leaks, odors, and poor performance. What it does

• Seals the perimeter of the door opening to contain wash water and suds
• Helps the door close flush and maintain a consistent, leak-free seal
• Common symptoms: water leaking at the door area, visible tears or cracks in the seal, persistent mildew/odors around the gasket, or a door that won't seal properly

Install notes

• Disconnect power and shut off water supply before servicing
• Remove the front panel/retaining bands as needed to access the seal
• Note orientation and drain holes at the bottom; press the seal fully into its groove all the way around
• Reinstall retainers, ensure the door closes flush, and run a short test to check for leaks
