This evaporator fan motor circulates cold air through the freezer/refrigerator compartment to help maintain even temperatures and proper frost control. Replaces a failed or noisy fan motor to restore normal cooling and airflow. What it does:

Took the back cover off, noticed the bolt holding the rotor on was broke off in the shaft which wore the stator and rotor. So I drilled out the broken bolt and extracted it with an easy out and replaced the stator the rotor and the bolt. Works great ! I maybe had 2 hours time in it and that includes taking it out of the laundry room and into the garage to work on it and back. Read more
