Whirlpool Wall Oven Parts

Trial and error only cooktop unit. Everything mounted into the counter and needed to pull unit out. I figured it was a control switch or the burner itself. Based on costs, I took the less expensive route and replaced the 2 known malfunctioning switches. All on-line videos said it was a 2-3 hour process to replace. I was able to order new hinge receiver brackets for the door. The repair was not that bad. I just had to take off the lower door, take the two trim pieces off the sides and unscrew the screws holding the oven into the face of the cabinet. Then slide it out about halfway and put a step stool under the front to keep it from tipping over. Then it was just a matter of taking off everything around the sides until I could take the brackets off, put the new brackets on, and put everything back... Read more

At first, I thought that it was the defrost timer, but when I took apart the freezer, I found that the evaporator fan motor wasn't running, so I replaced it. Read more

By replacing the switch, the front right burner correctly turned on the igniter and worked. Repair took about 5 minutes. Very easy to do. Read more

My Whirlpool range/oven needed to be converted from propane to natural gas. Appliance Parts Pros.com had the parts way cheaper than any local dealer. Doing this is not recommended for a novice as there are certain conversion specs that need to obtained and strictly followed. Read more

Whirlpool convection oven. Access to convection element from inside. Three screws to remove plate covering fan blade. Then one screw to remove element bracket. I placed tape over the holes with the wires so they wouldn’t pull back into the panel. Remove old element at tabs and replace. Very easy fix. Removing door to oven made it easier to get to but not necessary. Read more

Ordered a replacement holder with a new ceramic igniter and installed it. The new unit would not quite fit correctly on the Metal stand. It took only a couple of minutes with a large file to remove some of the metal on each side of the metal prongs that locate the holder onto the stand. Once done, it was an easy assembly job and works just fine. Note: I ordered two of the Torx screws along with the holder and discovered this is a necessity since the old stainless screws have a barrel... Read more
