The root cause was the front glides. They were virtually gone, and the drum was on metal to metal. So I replaced them with a front glide kit. I also replaced the belt, rear rollers, and lint screen. I went online and typed in my model number. I was just going to order the dryer belt, but decided that changing all the movable parts at the same time would be best - I definitely recommend doing this, since it was the tensioner pulley and not the belt. My husband is handy, which is why this was not a problem. The whole dryer needs to come apart in order to do this repair. Went on line looking on how to accomplish this and Appliance parts pro site came up and it was exactly what I needed. Order was sent on Sunday note and on Tuesday afternoon it was delivered. Went on internet, found a great site and learned that the cold water hose filter was very much clogged at the machine intake. Cleaned it and voila. Ordered an extra filter from Appliance Pros.com and literally was amazed that it arrive within 2 days of my internet order. Great efficiency and customer service….great experience. Installed a new thermistor tempiture control and it heats up as it should. Tools used was a ohlm meter, 1" stiff puty knife, #2 Philips screw driver, neadle nose pliers,1/4 & 5/16 nut drivers. Read more

We got the heater core kit. Unplug, undo two screws and pulled old one out. Looking at the old one, put the new one together and then mounted it back in place. Turned on dryer but no heat so unplugged it, tapped on elements, plugged back in and it worked. Not to hard. Read more

I applied heat proof grease to the drum roller shafts which fixed the problem for awhile. Started making the noise again so I ordered new shafts and drum rollers, idler pulley and new drum drive belt. I installed everything and the dryer now runs like new and quiet. Read more
