• No heat or not enough heat

The root cause was the front glides. They were virtually gone, and the drum was on metal to metal. So I replaced them with a front glide kit. I also replaced the belt, rear rollers, and lint screen. I am happy to say all the parts fit perfectly, and I couldn't find a better price anywhere else. I will definitely keep you on file for the next time I need appliance parts! Thank you! 18 year old Maytag Atlantis top load washer had a load knocking and rattle sound with excessive vibration when the tub was spinning, but not when it was agitating. They was no water leaking. Knowing that several things could be causing the noise, I ordered parts to cover all possibilities; once I got inside the dryer, I found the Idler Arm and Idler Pulley were worn and loose; replaced them and the Tumbler Bearings; the dryer now runs quiet again. Was going to replace the Drive Belt but believe it to be the wrong model, it was narrower and had 4 ribs whereas the old one seems to be OK and I believe has 5 ribs. I purchased part #85753076A, Whirlpool Fabric Softener Dispenser. Popped off the top from the agitator and popped on the fabric softener dispenser. It took me less than a minute and it works perfectly! No more missing the rinse cycle!!! Read more

Removed LP Orifice and LP Gas limiter. Orifice was easy, however the gas limiter was the tricky one because I had no instructions to what went where. I could not find anything online as to how to convert from LP to Natural Gas, but you could find several things as to how to convert from Natural to LP. I purchased replacement parts to completely replace basket, face plate, and rollers. I received exactly what I ordered. The only problem I had was removing the part(s) from the shipping box. I thought the part came assembled (as rollers had been installed onto the basket), but the face plate had not been snapped into place. Viewed the replacement video on the appliancepartspros.com repair process to see how complicated the repair was. Replacement part ordered but took a full 7 days to cross 2 states?? Replacement part was authentic replacement and was installed in about 15 minutes. One thing that was not mentioned in the video...make sure the water spout in routed correctly into the ice maker. Ordered a new clip and installed it. Easy to do. Unplugged the dryer. Removed the front. It is only held on by two screws. Removed wires to the door switch. removed the female end (it had the broken male piece in it. Inserted the new female part in the front, clipped in the male part into the door and reconnected the door switch wires, screwed the front back on. Job done. Total time was less than 10 minutes. These drip pans fit! I had bought some from a local big box store and they didn't fit. I only wish they still made them without the holes in the bottom of the drip pan. How's that supposed to hold a boil-over? But that's the manufacturer. AppliancePartsPros have always sent me orders right on time. Read more

Had to take the back cover off. It was very tight to remove the fan that sat in the drip pan but did get it off, was able to apply the same level of cursing and got the new pan installed, installing the drain tube was a breeze. Found the parts price very reasonable. Hoping the Whirlpool redesigned the pan so I won't have to do it ever again. I was surprised at how bad the quality of their original part was.
