I disconnected the elements and checked them with a ohmmeter (VOM) and both had continuity. Discovered that both elements used the same... Read more

The glue behind the keypad loosened and the keypad slowly began slipping down out of place over several months. Finally, because of the movement, it warped which resulted in one of the keys being stuck. That is what gave the F12 error code. The fix was easy. I removed the control panel and then peeled off the keypad. The keypad itself then has two layers (1), the flexible circuit panel, and (2) the outward facing display. I separated the display from the circuit panel and put the new one... Read more

Repair was relatively easy. You'll need a 5/16 socket with a short extension and a phillips-head screwdriver. Probably also an old rag and a bucket of hot soapy water. I started by sliding the stove out from the wall. Unplug the stove as soon as possible. No sense messing with 240 volts AC. If you're like me, and you haven't cleaned back there in a while, here's where you'll need the soapy rag. Cleaning up the stove (and the wall, and floor) will help make the job less gross. Next I...
