This ignitor/orifice assembly replaces the combined spark igniter and orifice holder for a gas surface burner, restoring fast, reliable lighting and proper flame. Replace it when the burner won't ignite, clicks repeatedly, or lights with delay.
- Directs gas through the burner orifice and positions the spark igniter for reliable ignition
- Common fix for a surface burner that won't light, has no/weak spark, or lights with delay
- Can help resolve unstable or uneven flame caused by a damaged or obstructed orifice
- Intended for the specific burner location and gas type specified by your model
What's included: 1 ignitor/orifice assembly. Install notes:
- Disconnect power and shut off the gas supply before servicing
- Allow the cooktop to cool; remove grates, burner caps/heads to access fasteners
- Lift the top or burner deck as needed to reach the orifice holder; transfer the igniter lead and any brackets from the old assembly
- Reassemble, restore gas, check for leaks with soapy water, and verify burner ignition
