Frigidaire Range Parts

When trouble shooting the problem I found that the light switch housing outer lip was broken allowing the switch to push through mounting surface behind the oven door. This is a slide in range so, I proceeded to pull the range away from the counter where I could unplug the power cord. Once the power was off like located the panel on the right upper side of the unit and removed the screws to allow access to the switch. I looked up and ordered a new display panel. Since it was not showing anything I was hoping something on the board just failed. When I got the new part I plugged it in and it has been working fine since. I wish I could have found some trouble shooting options for this type of problem but I could not find anything related to a blank display. Like I said fortunately the new panel worked. Part came in fast and was easy to put on. Turn off elect. and take front panel up , replace part and put back pannel. Read more

I ordered a new longer griddle burner and burner cover, then just simply removed two screws from the small center burner and dropped the larger on in it's place. Very easy switch out and was very happy with the result. Very easy and worth while upgrade. Read more

• Door won't close

I replaced the hinges and hinge mounts. Upon inspection of the mounts, it seems that they had become slightly deformed on the lower portion, where the heel of the hinge applies pressure to the frame. Probably didn't need new springs, just the mounts, but I just kept em in anyway. Easy fix, anybody can do it, good instructions in the kit. Very pleased with appliancepartspro speed of delivery. Andrew helped me trouble shoot the problem. First I replaced the elments but that did not fix the problem. When I spoke with Andrew he told me how to test the OHMS on the new and old element and they were both readying 26 OHMS. I then replaced the control panel for the clock and oven controls. This did not fix the problem. The next step was to replace the relay boards. We placed numbers on the wires (~30) to avoid confusion. Taking notes also helped. Replacing both relay swithces took... Easy to replace, remove front control panel to get at all inside parts, the range is screwed together, look at the parts diagram to see how it was assembled, unplug old switch and install new one.Youtube has many DIY videos to review before you start..... Read more
