Front-load washer door bellow forms watertight seal to prevent leaks. Replace if cracked, torn, or moldy. Confirm fit with your model number.
Removed old bellow following procedures found on relevant Youtube videos. Reinstalling however was more of a challenge. Getting the rear seal of the new bellow on the washer housing was not as easy as the videos indicated. The key to that process is being sure the seal is well lubricated which is not quite apparent from the videos but is essential success. Once the rear seal is installed, reapplying the rear spring was accomplished with the spring clamps as per the videos. Be sure to... Read more

Washer won't drain or makes loud whining noise? This drain pump removes water between cycles. DIY repair takes 30-40 minutes with basic tools.
Replace the drain pump after watching a video demonstrating the process. The washing machine had run properly and emptied, so I was surprised how much water remained in the pipe after disconnecting the old pump. Plan on having 2-3 large towels underneath before removing it. The most difficult part (and most irritating) was replacing the intake and outtake hoses with the existing spring clamps. The drain hose into the pump took almost twenty minutes to attach properly. If the hardware store was... Read more
This is a multi-ribbed drive belt that connects the motor to the wash drum, allowing the drum to spin and agitate during wash and spin cycles. Over time the belt can stretch, crack, or break from normal wear. Replace this belt if the washer drum won't spin or agitate, if you hear a burning rubber smell, or if the motor runs but the drum does not move.
With more difficulty and frustration than expected but it works fine now. Things learned: 1. Order only 3 replacement pins. One comes with the shocks that you can't be sure you see in the picture. 2. A circuit board in a plastic box mounted to the floor, left rear, must be removed by two screws to be able to get pliers onto the head of the pin more easily. This helps installation too. 3. A 1/2" deep socket pushed onto the retaining tab of the pin stays there while you pull with pliers from the... Read more

Enables smooth drum rotation in your washer. Replace if you hear loud roaring or whirling noises during spin cycle. Confirm fit with your model number.
I replaced the spin bearing, tub seal, washer and drive belt since I had it all apart. The video was extremely helpful...I would have tore the whole thing apart trying to figure out how the agitator came off....but it was very simple. Read more
Washer won't fill with water or only fills with hot? The water inlet valve controls water flow into the tub. DIY repair takes about 30 minutes.
This is my third repair of this type. The first was a stand-alone washer and was very easy, because there was a plate on which the inlet valve assembly was mounted, and it was easily removed. This repair was on a Frigidaire stacked washer/dryer (laundry center). Stacked washer/dryers are typically purchased to save space and are often tucked into a closet. Be sure you can pull it out to access both front and rear. Remove drain hose from drain, detach water hoses, electricity and dryer vent... Read more
Washer won't spin or shows communication error? The motor control board controls spin speed and motor functions. DIY repair in 30 minutes with video guide.
This was the motor control board (also called the speed control board, motor control unit, or MCU in various places across the web). The repair was straightforward, except for two complications. First the old part was difficult to access in this model washer (Frigidaire Gallery Series front load washer). Instead of being easy to reach on the left side where there was space, it was sort of behind the actual motor on the right side of the housing. I spent some time trying to figure out... Read more

This lubricant is essential for the proper maintenance and functionality of various Frigidaire appliances, offering protection against heat and friction.

Replacement outer door panel for washer front-load doors. Installs around door glass. Replace if cracked at hinge, broken from impact, or warped plastic.
My teenaged son took the old washer door off and apart. He replaced our glass from our washer onto the new doors and attached it to the hinge. These doors are compatible with Kenmore washer even though it says Frigidaire. Read more
Replacement tub to pump drain hose for front-load washers. Connects the drum to the pump for water drainage. Replace if cracked, leaking, or worn.
Seems like a poor design-hose developed a leak from rubbing on the support pad beneath it. Pretty easy fix if you follow one of the instructional videos online as far as how to get the front panel off of the washer. You can't change this part from the rear access panel. My washer and dryer are stacked so it added some time to the job. Read more
Stabilizes the washer tub during spin cycles. Replace worn or broken rear shock absorbers to restore smooth operation and prevent drum contact with cabinet.
Replaced pump. All components are accessible from the front of the machine. You have to remove two screws in the back that hold on the top cover, then slide the cover back. This will allow access to the screws that hold on the control panel. Remove the control panel (unplug cable), then remove the spring/wire that holds on the door bellows to the front panel (removing and installing that is the most difficult part of the job) and carefully remove the bellows from the front panel. Then remove... Read more
