This top cover assembly replaces the washer's top panel to restore a secure, smooth cabinet surface and proper console alignment. It helps protect internal components and provides a finished appearance. What it does:

  • Replaces a dented, cracked or corroded top panel that lets moisture or debris reach internal parts
  • Stops rattling or flexing at the front or sides caused by a bent or warped top
  • Restores correct fit for the control console and lid alignment
  • Prevents gaps that can allow leaks to reach electronics or suspension components
What's included: One top cover assembly. Install notes:
  • Disconnect power before starting work to avoid shock or unexpected appliance operation
  • Follow OEM service manual steps; access typically requires removing the control console and lifting the old top
  • Two people may be needed to safely remove and position the panel, especially on larger machines
  • Keep original fasteners and grounding hardware; replace any damaged clips or screws
