This small replacement magnet works with the washer's lid/door lock sensor to ensure the lid or door is closed. Restores proper safety interlock operation so cycles can start and spinning is allowed. What it does:
This pulley set screw secures the washer's drive pulley to its shaft. Replacing a stripped or missing fastener restores a solid pulley connection to help prevent belt slippage, noise, and spin or agitation issues. What it does:
Note: Newly designed cover includes 4 new rod and spring assemblies. The tub dampening straps and clips are no longer used.
This is a stacked unit so it comes apart a little different. you DO NOT have to remove the dryer unit to remove the tub assembly.the top front cabinet brace is held on with 6 screws.remove this along with the suspension rods the tub assembly comes straight out the front of the machine. Do yourself a favor and take the whole assembly out of the machine before you disassemble the inner tub. I removed the drain pump before i took the tub out as a precaution. The worst part about this job was the... Read more
The Washer Fill Hoses are OEM parts for various washing machines, specifically designed to transport hot and cold water from the home's supply lines to the washer. These hoses are essential for the proper functioning of the washing machine, ensuring a steady and reliable flow of water during the wash and rinse cycles. Coming in packs of 2, each hose measures 5 ft.
Causes of bad washer fill hoses can include wear and tear over time, exposure to high water pressure, or damage from kinks and bends. Additionally, hoses can deteriorate due to exposure to harsh water conditions or chemical buildup.
Symptoms of bad washer fill hoses include:
These washer fill hoses are compatible with a variety of washing machine brands and models, ensuring a secure and efficient water supply.
Motor control board was flashing 4 times, indicating that the mode shifter had an error. I disconnected the mode shifter's wire from the controller and measured the resistance between the 2 leads with an ohmmeter. Since the reading was infinite, that meant that the mode shifter coil or in-line thermal sensor was electrically open, i.e. bad. As this fix is near a complete tear-down of the washing machine, here are a few tips I discovered. 1) the hub nut is difficult to remove and you need a... Read more
This shifter spring helps engage and return the transmission shifter mechanism in select top-load washers, allowing smooth changes between agitation and spin for reliable wash performance.
Replace a failed heating element with this Heater and Housing Assembly. It restores proper electric heat and airflow through the drum so loads dry evenly and within a normal cycle time. What it does:
The Lid Switch is an OEM part for GE washing machines. This part prevents the washer from operating when the lid is open. When the lid is closed, the switch activates, allowing the washing machine to proceed with the wash cycle.
Causes of a bad lid switch can include wear and tear from frequent use, damage due to accidental impacts, or electrical failures such as short circuits or corrosion.
Symptoms of a bad lid switch include:
This OEM GE part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
I ordered the lid switch and I recieved it within (2) days, I installed it and our washer is running again. Thanks to appliancepartspros.com. This is my second time that I have ordered a part from them at a reasonable price and quick delivery,I will use them again if I need another part for any of my appliances. Ricardo J. Rios Read more
This lid actuator engages the washer's lid switch or lock when the lid closes, signaling the control that it's safe to run. Replacing a worn or broken actuator restores reliable lid detection for wash and spin cycles.
Installed the new Lid Actuator and the dryers Start Switch. Read more
This drain hose assembly carries wastewater from the washer to the household standpipe or laundry tub. Replacing a cracked, kinked, or leaking hose helps restore proper draining and reduces the risk of water on the floor. What it does
First of you need to remove front panel of the washer, using a putty knife push the tabs between the top of the machine and the front panel. This timer is used on washing machine units. The function of the timer is to control the electrical components and the duration of each of the washing machine cycles. If the timer has gone bad, the cycles may run incorrectly or won't run at all. For example, the washing machine may become stuck on the spin cycle. The unit may also skip cycles altogether. Another symptom is if the washing machine will not drain the water. It is very easy to replace and can be done quickly. Unplug the washing machine from the electrical outlet before attempting to replace this part. This particular timer is compatible with washing machines that are manufactured by the General Electric brand, including Hotpoint and RCA. This part is sold individually and is sourced straight from the manufacturer.

The V Belt is an OEM part for GE washing machines. This belt connects the drive motor to the washer's drum, facilitating the rotation of the drum during the wash and spin cycles.
Causes of a bad V belt can include wear and tear from continuous use, stretching, fraying, or snapping due to overloading or improper installation.
Symptoms of a bad V belt include:
The hardest part of this repair was determining where (controls, motor, belt or transmission) the problem was. I could see little pieces of rubber from the belt beneath the motor pulley, but the machine is 20 years old and some wear is to be expected. Since the belt was still intact and neither frayed or cracked and since I didn't know what the original dimensions were and since the machine was still able to agitate, I could only identify the belt as a possible source of the failure to... This CCMR 30-amp, 120-volt fuse protects the appliance's electrical circuit by opening when current exceeds safe limits. Replace a blown fuse to restore power to the affected circuit and help prevent damage to internal components.
First I check the breaker for the dryer then I check the power cord and the ohms to the power cord when all this things were in working order I then check the ohms to the fuse to the control panel. The fuse had no ohms so I got a pair on needle nose pliers pulled out the fuse and replace it worked just find after that Read more
This fork support actuator assembly mounts in the washer's drive mechanism and supports the shift fork that changes between wash/agitate and spin. Replacing a worn assembly restores dependable shifting and helps resolve no-agitate, no-spin, and grinding complaints. What it does:
This replacement blower wheel for a dryer mounts to the drive motor and pulls air through the drum, lint filter, and exhaust, restoring proper airflow so loads dry efficiently and the appliance runs as intended. What it does:
This dryer safety thermostat monitors internal temperature and opens the circuit if the unit overheats, protecting the heater and wiring. Replacing a failed thermostat restores proper over-temperature cutoff and safe, consistent drying performance. What it does:
Removed lid. Removed switch panel. Suspected open circuit in thermal fuse. Tested it with a multimeter first to confirm it had an open circuit. This part is obsolete. Contacted manufacturer and found part supercedes to a different part number Ordered part. (This website is very efficient.
