I had my grandson, as he is more agile, replace the Drip Pan. The only real issue was the removing and reinstalling the Fan module. Strongly suggest to view the provided Video a couple of time to save frustration. As not in video, you do not need to remove the water line as the whole back panel will just fold up and out of the way. A 1/4" nut driver is the only tool you need. Simple fix. YouTube was my teacher. Remove 4 screws, replaced failed interface assembly and replaced 4 screws. Second part purchased from Appliance Parts Pros and very satisfied with process. First was a washing machine timer control. Thanks. Read more

Purchased Appliance Parts Pros replacement ice maker, removed the defective unit, matched the proper wiring harness using the wiring color codes at the P and J side connectors. Approximately 1 hour following the installation, I delightfully heard the first set of cubes ! Read more

I found a video/tutorial on how to take it apart to see what was pieces were broken, then ordered the replacement parts and watched the video to put it back together again. Read more

I determined that it was a problem that occurred during the defrost cycle by resetting the GFCI outlet and forwarding the defrost timer until the defroster came on. Once the defrosting began, the GFCI outlet would reliably trip. I took apart the shielding inside of the freezer and tested the defrosting without the heating element or the thermostat connected.
