Motor shaft was stripped, replaced with new shaft from Motor Seal Kit. Impeller was also cracked, so replaced it as well. I did run in to a small problem, the chopper blade was pressing against the metal grate on the piece that goes back over the motor seal. Fastening screw for securing components inside appliances. Replaces lost, stripped, or damaged screws during repairs or part installations.
Bought and installed new hinges. Repair took about an hour but I also cleaned all the glass inside and out on both oven doors. I had ordered extra screws as I read the old ones that hold the hinges were hard to get in as they were self taping but the screw labeled 5 next to the hinge were not the right ones. This is the heating element located at the bottom of the dishwasher tub. It heats the water during the wash and rinse cycles and provides heat for the drying cycle. Replace this element if dishes come out wet or poorly cleaned, the water is not getting hot enough, or if the element is visibly damaged or broken.
