I have a Jenn-Air microwave that didn't turn on and had no lights. It just stopped working completely. I unplugged the unit and had to remove the rear cover using a *security screw kit* that prevents people from opening the rear panel. Once opened, I removed the fuse and testing it with an OHM reader to determine that the fuse went bad. • Little to no heat when broiling

Cut off power ,inside I remove the two back screws, remove the two front screws with hangers. Pull element out, clip wires so they don't fall back in holes with clothes pins. worked good. But wire connection to the broiler was to large, had to replace connectors, wire fell in hole, had to pull wall oven out and remove back panel. I then mounted the new element to oven. Replaced connectors ,connected connectors, closed back panel, put oven in place ,connected power lines. Turned power on. Works... Read more

Troubleshot the oven by checking the broiler which worked good (same fuel valve). After reading the some tips about troubleshooting the Glow Ignitor I could see the broiler ignitor got white hot and the oven ignitor only got bright orange (orange to red causes intermittent ignition or mini explosions). Watched the how to video and it was good information. You should be observant about which openings in the back of the oven as to where the two wires are coming out of. My oven is over 12 years...
