With the basket out of the dishwasher, the plastic parts basically snap on and off... popped the broken parts off and the new parts on. The 2 wheel and mount assemblies were a little more complicated. The video on the website advises to disconnect the supply line and drain line... I didn't have to do this. I just pulled the dishwasher out of its cabinet a little over a foot and removed the 2 screws holding each assembly in place and removed them. The previous gaskets (2 PER ASSEMBLY)... Read more

Used the vinyl touch up paint on the tops of posts and slid vinyl tips over 130 posts. The paint acts as an adhesive to keep the tips secure. Read more

The gasket is fairly straightforward: it's just a press-fit right in to the channel. What you need to know is that you need to stretch the gasket material lengthwise prior to installation; if you don't it will be too short. The problem is that the bottom seal is not included with this gasket kit. The bottom seal begins to loosen at the corners and then begins to allow water past the door. Took the washer out, turned it over and found the solenoid that worked the drain valve to be melted, and the shaft that the solenoid activates was heavily corroded. I found the right parts on your website after reading the notes left by other customers, then watched the video. The repairs were fairly simple and successful. This was a GE profile dishwasher. I nearly shelled out for a new Kitchenaid when I remembered APP and entered my model # just for fun. The interactive diagrams and install videos showed where all the parts "should" be, mine were badly disintegrated, so I replaced the damaged ones and swapped out all of the other easily accessible seals and bearings (also gave it a good and very disturbing cleaning).
