Replace your dishwasher's upper spray arm if cracked, broken, or clogged beyond cleaning. Installs in the top of the tub to spray water on the upper rack.
I replaced the upper nozzle guide, nozzle shaft and upper spray arm. I also replaced the pump gasket for good measure. Top rack dishes had not been cleaning properly. I first removed the filter assembly to inspect the main pump from above. It was clogged but after cleaning and reassembly I observed that while middle and bottom spray arms were changing position, the upper spray arm was not. I confirmed that water was flowing through the upper spray arm by placing some empty yogurt pots on a... Read more

The cover was easy to remove with 3 star head screws. I entered my model number on AppliancePartsPros.com dreading the cost I was about the encounter. However, the parts were very cheap, in stock, and shipped within an hour of my order. I had a question about the tracking number and received an email back in less than an hour. The cost for both parts and standard shipping was under $30. Once I received the parts, the new cover was installed, the rest of the assembly was put back back... Read more

Although we had a service contract with Sears I elected to take a quick look to see what was wrong. There were 3 problems: 1 - retainer thumb screw had broken and appeared to have been damaged for some time showing scummy buildup along the line where the threads finally separated from the knob, 2 - after removing the lower spray arm, observed that the pump seal was visibly distended and exposed, and 3 - the 3rd level wash arm spinner disk was in the parts bag and the stainless steel sweat-fit... This is a 12 year old Kenmore, but my experience applies to many dishwashers. The machine had run for almost a year without being cleaned. I found parts had failed from age and water passages were jammed with hard-water deposits and pieces of food, labels, etc. that had gotten past the filters. I cleaned out what I could and replaced parts that could not be cleaned or were damaged. Dishwasher now works better than it has for years. The work, including ordering parts, took about 4 hours, but... Read more
Replaces broken or cracked 3rd level spray arm assembly that mounts at the top of the tub. Includes mounting tabs and collar for secure installation.
There is a plastic "snapping" feature (Two plastic tabs that when pressed together can fit into the holes on the spray arm. Once in there, the tabs expands and keep the spray arm in place) that comes out of the top onto which the spray arm is attached to. That plastic piece broke and the spray arm fell off. It wasn't clear how the snapping feature was attached to the top of the dishwasher at first. I was looking for a replacement for it and could not find it on any of the assembly diagram... Read more

I initially just removed the spray arm and top cover of pump assembly inside the bottom of the washer. Removed match sticks, broken glass bits, a small metal ball, broken plastic fork. Thought problem would be solved, but no,and was disappointed the sound remained after reassembly and a test wash cycle. That basically left the circulation pump. I decided to order the pump and motor assembly together because it was cheaper than the pump alone --and-- there was a chance of other debris in the... Read more
This spray arm assembly distributes high-pressure wash water inside the dishwasher and spins to cover the racks. Replacing a cracked or clogged arm restores proper spray coverage for cleaner dishes and consistent wash performance. What it does:
The lower wash arm support cap secures and stabilizes the lower spray arm while allowing it to rotate freely during wash cycles. Positioned at the center of the dishwasher floor beneath the lower dish rack, it requires replacement when the wash arm wobbles, doesn't rotate, or when dishes in the lower rack remain dirty.
