I don't have a multimeter so couldn't check all voltages or resistances on suspect parts. I assumed it had to be the two thermostat units - the thermostat or the dryer cycling thermostat. These were not expensive parts so ordered both and installed both. Very easy to remove back panel and replace with the new parts, making sure the OEM numbers were the same. Put back panel on, plugged back in and it fired right up - time will tell if these were the culprits. Not much left electronics wise on... Read more

Removed microwave from the built in cabinet (probably the hardest part) and took off top cover (screws on side and back). Had previously blown the power fuse 2 times in this microwave, so I checked the fuse first using an ohmmeter. This time fuse was good. Traced the power wires around to top side of microwave and saw the overheat "therm" switch. My daughter that she turned timer on but hit cook with nothing in the microwave. I was able to figure it was one of the four thermal cutoffs. It was obvious which one literally fried. Replaced that one worked like it was new. Took a lot of photos while dismantling and labeled the screws. Wasn't that hard just be careful of the capacitor Read more
