Tried bending the strike to get a firmer grip, but no luck. Replaced the door latch and strike. Washer is about ten years old. You can feel the new catch has a more positive engagement. When you replace the strike, be sure not to tilt it downward in front. It will go in the way but it will keep the door from closing. Not sure I needed to replace the strike but didn't want to risk more downtime. Read more

Installation of the new handle after receiving a very timely shipment from appliance parts pros was simple. I lined up the top of the handle (hooked 90 degrees over the door) and then swung the handle down to meet the corresponding lower screw. I used the new screws; which were about 1/4 inch longer then OEM for better engagement, and with Phillips screw driver attached the handle. Read more

Separated oven door by removing screws. Inserted handle and secured with clips, and reassembledo door with screws provided. In served broiler handle and snappedal into place. Read more

First had to clean inside the empty freezer, that was the hard part. removed old gasket and cleaned inside the track in the door. had the new gasket well warmed and in the right shape. put new gasket in track. seating it firmly. It was very easy. I did watch a couple of online videos to get the general idea of what it detailed.
