The Gasket, Fresh Food Door is an OEM part for Frigidaire refrigerators. It is essential for creating a tight seal around the door of the refrigerator's fresh food compartment, preventing warm air from entering and cold air from escaping. This seal helps maintain the internal temperature, ensuring food stays fresh longer and the refrigerator operates efficiently. The gasket measures approximately 37 inches in length and 29 inches in width.
Symptoms of a bad Fresh Food Door Gasket include:
Causes of gasket failure can include normal wear and tear, exposure to harsh cleaning chemicals that degrade the material, or damage from frequent use.
This OEM replacement is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore models.
