This drive belt is made for use on lawn mowers produced by multiple manufacturers. This belt attached the motor to the blade. This causes the driveshaft to rotate the blade. Because these belts are made of rubber, normal wear tear causes deterioration over time.Deterioration can take the form of cracking, tearing, or stretching of the drive belt. This can cause a complete breakdown of the lawn mower or reduced performance. If the mower is acting sluggish, it may be time to check the belt and replace it if necessary.Before removing and replacing the belt, it is important to drain the fuel tank and remove the spark plugs to ensure safety. Always disengage the blades and wear gloves when replacing the drive belt. After removing the damaged belt, slide the new belt on and reinstall the spark plug before operating the mower.This drive belt is OEM sourced.
