Lg Washer Parts

Initially did a uTube search for specific instructions on dismantling this machine for this repair. I had successfully replaced a door/tub gasket on a Whirlpool front load machine previously. Did not find specific uTube instructions for this Kenmore. So began removing parts using past learned info on what needed to be removed first, second, and last. Checked all hoses for clogs cleaned them out and problem still existed so it was time for a new pump and since I was in there I replaced the drain hoses as well. Pump and hoses were exact oem replacement parts project took 30 minutes and the wife was happy again!!! Read more

The repair was fairly straight foward as shown in the video. However, driving the shaft from the bearings took some doing. It required replacing the use of the board with a spare bolt and a 2lb hand sledge. (having an air hammer as reserve, also not a bad idea) I rated this reair as a "1" however I've been an auto mechanic for 40 years. The LG Model LG Washer model WM2487HRMA ISSUE: Washing Machine was filling very slowly. Overnight it would fill about 1 or 2 gallons. I would clear the tub by pushing a) Power b) set spin to None c) push Start. That would empty the tub. REPAIR SOLUTION: That did not solve the problem. I removed the top cover and found the left main suspension spring broken. Appliance Part Pros had the new springs (2 I replaced both) at my door in 26 hours. Excellent service from this company. After disassembling the drum from the chassis of the machine, it was very easy to replace the springs. i do wish however that I had purchased a higher quality machine. Ordered boot, nozzle, and inner spring for boot. Would have ordered outer, but the schematic for parts made it very difficult to navigate to locate parts...24 hr/next day air and I have a happy wife. The only thing that would have made it easier, was having a pair of Spring Expansion pliers, be careful not to pinch inner boot! Used Youtube video as a walk through, completed in the fraction of the time if i hadnt watched! Read more

• Shakes and moves

One of the suspension rods was not working so I replaced the bad one and the other three . Tub has now leveled out and is spinning properly without making the noise. This was Kenmore front load washer made by LG. Model 796.41302610 First, AppliancePartsPros.com has been great. This is my fourth time using them. Staff, DIY comments, and videos are all very helpful. Always ended up with the right part and received next day. The machine made an odd noise on start-up. I ran diagnostics.
