This is a plastic air dome that traps air and transmits water pressure changes to the pressure switch, which controls the water level inside the washer tub. It connects between the tub and the pressure switch hose. Replace this part if the washer overfills, underfills, or does not fill at all, as a cracked or clogged air dome prevents accurate water level sensing.
Opened the back of machine and saw that a mouse had eaten holes in all but one of the rubber hoses. Took the top off the machine for better access. Here's the story. All my appliances except the dryer broke. Yeah. talk about bad luck. First I tried to fix the refrigerator. Replaced both motherboard and inverter board.
