This AC fan motor drives the cooling fan inside a microwave or combination cooking unit, circulating air to prevent internal components from overheating during operation. It helps protect the magnetron, control board, and other electronics by dissipating heat. If your microwave overheats frequently, shuts off mid-cycle, or you no longer hear the cooling fan running, this motor likely needs replacement.
Microwave not heating? The high voltage diode converts power for the magnetron. DIY-friendly repair with proper safety precautions. Discharge capacitor first.
Suction guide bracket that positions and supports the suction component inside your microwave. Replace if cracked, broken, or missing to restore proper alignment.
This was much easier than I expected. First and foremost discharge the capacitor, google has the instructions. The diagnosis was also easy, really just 3 parts, the Magnetron, the Capacitor, and the Diode. With a simple multimeter measuring the resistance I was able to determine the Magnetron had shorted out and the diode was bad. I replaced all three components which fixed my issue. Read more

Microwave won't turn on, made popping noise, or smells like burned electrical? The noise filter often fails when solder joints arc or short out.
When using the microwave it made a frying sound and completely stopped working. Took cover off (after unplugging) and found filter coil solder joints fried. Took a chance on replacing filter. Works perfectly now. Looking at the solder joints again, under magnification, discovered they were not done properly in the first place. Use caution with cover off, there is a capacitor near the filter that could prove dangerous. Also need tamper proof torx bit to remove 2 of the cover screws, or small... Read more

This is an electronic filter board that suppresses electrical noise generated by the microwave, preventing interference with other household electronics. It is typically mounted near the power cord connection inside the microwave's cabinet. Replace this part if the microwave causes static on nearby radios or TVs, trips breakers, or fails to power on at all.
This sensor detects moisture and temperature levels inside the microwave cavity during cooking. It communicates with the control board to regulate automatic cooking and sensor reheat cycles. Replace this part if the microwave fails to properly detect doneness, overcooks or undercooks food on sensor settings, or displays a sensor error code.
