Microwave won't heat but runs normally? A failed diode prevents power conversion to the magnetron. This part restores heating in most microwaves.
The rectifier (a high-voltage diode) connected to the magnetron that supplies the RF energy that does the heating in the microwave was shorted. The shorted rectifier was found by using a multimeter to measure resistance which should be very high in this type of diode. After replacing the rectifier the Frigidaire microwave oven heated food normally. I thank AppliancePartsPros for sending the part so promptly. The real problem with this repair was getting this over the stove microwave oven out of... Read more

Toggle bolt for microwave installation. Secures microwave to cabinet or wall. Replace if missing, stripped, or damaged during installation or removal.
Captures grease, odors, and airborne particles in your microwave. Replace when visibly dirty or airflow decreases. Confirm fit with your model number.
After searching how much it would cost to repair, i felt i should just replace the microwave till one of the customer in the appliance repair shop told me to order the replacement button. I research and found that it was cheap to replace with basic tools. Ordered the parts, and it took me 20 minutes to replace. Removed two screws (top) holding the hood piece, slide it to the left and pull forward. Remove one screw holding the control board, lift and pull. Took pictures of all wire connection... Read more
If your microwave overheats or ventilation has stopped working, the fan motor likely needs replacement. Circulates air to regulate temperature.
If your microwave overheats or shuts off unexpectedly, the high-limit thermostat may have failed. This safety cutoff prevents damage from excess heat.
Connects the motor to the glass tray for smooth turntable rotation. Replace if your shaft is broken, worn, or causing the tray to wobble or scrape.
I ordered the part. The original was broken. Read more
This micro switch is a small electromechanical door/control switch that restores reliable on/off signaling for your appliance. Replacing a failed switch helps restore normal operation and safety interlocks. What it does:
This AC fan motor is the refrigerator fan motor that circulates air to maintain proper cooling and airflow. It replaces a worn or failed fan motor to help restore steady airflow and consistent temperatures. What it does:
Microwave not heating? This magnetron generates microwave energy to cook food. Moderate DIY repair—requires disassembly and careful handling of parts.
Printed out and followed the online written instructions and referred to the video several times. For us, it was a two person job to safely support the front of the microwave while removing the two mounting bolts which go through the cabinet from above. After tilting the front down, lifting the back up and off of the wall bracket required both of us. Not overly heavy, just awkward. The replacing of the magnetron and diode went fine, just follow the instructions. There are lots of screws to... Read more

Secures your microwave door to engage the safety switches. Replace if the hook is cracked, broken, or worn, preventing the door from latching properly.
A replacement unified-thread screw used to secure appliance panels and internal components. Provides a direct fastener to restore secure attachment when original screws are missing, damaged, or corroded. What it does:
We had a problem with the magnetron a few years ago while it was still under warranty so they sent me a new magnetron but when the repairman showed up he had a new one also and said just keep it as a spare (no charge). It's an over-the-range microwave so taking it down takes a little bit of an effort, cumbersome more than anything. Got it down to my work bench, took off the housing, checked to make sure the capacitor was discharged, removed the capacitor (diode is attached to it) and... Read more
