• Freezer section too warm

I removed the back panel in freezer and light cover then the following: remove the rusted clips, unplug heater and replaced new heater, the thermostat defrost I unfasten, clip on replacement and connected plugs. Read more

Changed out all four burners. Burners were corroded. Burners simply twist off. Spark module was not necessary and was returned ( easily and with no problem ). Read more

Filled tub to about 6 inches and inspected washer. Noticed that the tube leading from the air entrapment bubble on the exterior side of the drum had a small leak in it. Clipped off the part of the tube that had the hole in it(it was very close to the connector nipple) reconnected and problem was solved. Read more

Replaced the ice tray and motor mount plate. While I was there I replaced the thermostat also. New parts arrived in a day and a half. Read more

Replaced motor, fan and lock-nut. My repair was on a built in Refrigerator-Freezer so most of the time was spent on pulling out and putting back the unit to get to the area I needed to behind the upper top. Read more

I read the help guide on the AppliancePartsPros.com web site and then decided to test my defrost heater with a volt/ohm meter. I read an open circuit. I then removed the radiant heater element from the refrigerator and see nothing wrong with the element, but the connection on both sides to it, that resemble a spark plug wire to an automotive plug, was corroded to a powder making no electrical connection. • Door won't open or close

Temporarily stuck a BMW lug bolt through the bracket and pivot opening to secure the door on the base, then waited just 3 days for the exact parts to come in from AppliancePros. Searching for the appliance model number brought me to the Appliance Pros website where finding the exact parts was quick and easy. Getting the correct part installed was a bit more involved as I had to remove and reinstall the bracket once the hinge pivot was installed, but it was quick and easy with my son holding the... It was a relatively easy fix and the video instructions on this site provided were helpful. The one piece that wasn't clear is the alumilastic was already on the replacement part so a separate tube is not required. That wasn't clear on the video and was an unneeded expense. Read more
