Online chat here said that the oven sensor should be replaced. I got the feeling that was a bit off, so I went with my gut and ordered the thermostat as well. The repair was a success. The switch and came looked different from the original. I called Appliance Parts Pro, they lady on the phone said that Frigidaire changed the switch and how to wire it up correctly. Problem solved. It all works as it should. Read more

An aluminum drip pan was placed into the bottom of the oven thinking that it would make for easier clean up......Don't Do It! It melted to the bottom floor of the oven and could not be removed. It was infused with the coating on the floor pan, thus making it permanently damaged. After a quick search of the internet, a replacement part was found at AppliancePartsPros.com They had the part I needed at a very good price. I ordered both hinges (if the nylon roller was bad on the left, it was probably going to go bad on the right side as well). The web site was easy to navigate, order process simple. Hinges arrived quickly. Slide the oven door up and off. unscrew the three screws for the hinge. You need to then pull up with some force (there is a big spring in there), and twist the hinge to get the last bit out. These drip pans fit! I had bought some from a local big box store and they didn't fit. I only wish they still made them without the holes in the bottom of the drip pan.
