Well, I took it out (it slides out) to get a good look at it,so i could ref pictures on your site..naturally I had serial/model of refrig,and thats mandatory to get the right part. It came in 2 days,,and being just the bucket, it took only a few minutes to transfer the auger assembly/cube/crusher.... into the new one, 6 screws total..Your site has excellent vids on DIY.......I HIGHLY reccomend. I ordered a complete ice maker from appliance parts after watching a few YouTube videos I was sure that I could replace the icemaker. Upon the arrival of the icemaker I removed two screws slid the icemaker out disconnected the wiring harness and replace the icemaker in less than five minutes. Replaced entire ice maker. A couple of important points. (1) The ice maker module does not include all parts. The door flap for example is not included. So save all plastic parts from the old unit including screws. The biggest installation problem was the power cable. There was little room on the side of the ice maker for the cable and connectors to fit. Make sure the connector that mates with the refrigerator cable is seated onto the plastic housing and does not stick out or dangle out.... Read more

I first thought it was the auger in the ice container so I changed it and it was not the problem. I then talked to ApplianceParts customer service that it might be the yoke on the motor that turned the auger or even the motor itself even though it worked. I ordered the parts, the yoke was supposed to be able to be changed by itself but mind would not come off the motor shaft so I had to cut it off just to remove it from the unit so I had to change the motor anyway because of this. I broke the ice bucket when the problem first started as I kept trying to get the ice out of the dispenser. I replaced the Icemaker Asembly in less than 5 minutes, 1 screw and that was that. Everything works great and my dispenser is back in action.
