This is a gray rubber door gasket designed to seal the French door on a refrigerator. It attaches along the perimeter of the door to create an airtight seal that keeps cold air inside the compartment. Replace this gasket if you notice condensation forming around the door edges, frost buildup inside the refrigerator, or if the seal appears cracked, torn, or no longer holds firmly against the cabinet.

Seals were bad Theresa C. • Newalla , OK • November 24, 2015
Ordered replacement seals for both freezer and refrigerator sides. Followed directions that I had found on YouTube. The installation in a nut shell is warm the seals in a bathtub with very hot water for at least 2-3hrs then place the seals. Then warm the seals with a hair dryer as needed. After getting the seals out of the hot bath the installation took all of 20-25 minutes for both seals.

We bought a used refrigerator gaskets were old and broken not sealing any more Jill H. • Penn Valley , CA • July 08, 2015
Unfortunately, this model has the screws that you need to loosen before you can squeeze the rubber in but the gaskets fit perfectly. It took a lot more time than the video showed but that was because the video was of the pop in type. Be sure when pushing the rubber under the metal strip you make sure it actually goes in. I think the last people installed the gaskets incorrectly and that's why they broke and pulled out of place. Unscrew the bolts first, I used an electric drill. The old gasket...
