Had to replace the auger. The auger on my ice maker was made of plastic and had broken pieces off it. The new one is made of metal and seems to work much better. Was a fairly simple repair. However pay close attention when disassembling, I recommend using your cell phone and snap a pic of the different stages as I became a little confused when putting it back together. This was for a bottom freezer model, which required removing the freezer door to be able to access the icemaker. Once I was able to crawl into the freezer by lying on the floor the actual removal and replacement was relatively easy.
