This was a two and half year issue as different things failed at different times. I would get one part, then another would fail. Ultimately, I got to a point where what failed, I hadn't been ordered the part yet. The seal on the freezer door took three bathing's before it plumped up and un-creased. I replaced the auger motor. You have to remove complete ice maker. Everything is just like help video to do except yoke dispenser. I watched video several times. Yoke will not just tap loose, after 30 minutes of tapping, I was using screwdriver to brace. I used a Dremel tool to cut part of shaft, came off easy then. After that, the repair went great. I have ice, I noticed motor I received was stronger. Parts came on time stated and worked great. I will order again on other repairs. Read more

I first ordered a new basket because the old one would not seat properly. I had already replaced the ice maker a year ago. That didn't solve it . Everything kept icing up and the thing would quit. I'm a "keep replacing stuff until it works guy" so I ordered a new base assembly and gaskets for the drive motor and it works like new. As a side note, these guys are so fast in shipping they would make Amazon nervous. Great company!! Read more

Ordered new ice maker ,,, losen 2,, 1/4" screws on ice maker mountingbracket,, you dont have to remove screws just losen ,,disconnect wiring harness from back of old ice maker.. Take new ice maker connect wiring harness ,,mount ice maker back on 2 screws then tighten . Read more

I have a Whirlpool Side-by-side Model ED22PWXBW01. A year ago, the ice cubes started freezing together in the rear of the ice bin for no apparent reason. Although the problem started off small, it gradually grew much worse, and finally I could see water dripping out of the ice mold and into the bin during the fill cycle.
