Here's what the problem was: Started the 'Normal' cycle... I closed the door... it calls for water, water fills, ECS sensor doesn't kick it to the next segment of the cycle (wash), so the water over-fills and reaches the over-fill sensor. The start button had been tricky to use. You had to push it in just a certain way to get the dryer to start. Eventually it was non-responsive. All other controls worked and there was no error code displayed. The repair was to replace the whole control board which cost around $100. Heavy sigh.. Be sure to keep track of all your screws. A real oddesy with a Samsung Refrigerator. Samsung customer servicen is a joke, but thanks to Appliance Parts Pros, I have been able to fix the various problems I have had. It is three years old, but began having serious problems about a year ago.
