Oven won't heat or takes forever to reach temperature? A weak or failing igniter is the likely cause. This range oven igniter is a 10-minute DIY fix.
I replaced the igniter with a Frigidaire(Electrolux) part. The small oven on my Thermador Pro-Harmony Gas Range stopped heating (on Thanksgiving Day of course). I looked on the internet and I saw a video indicating it may be the igniter. I ordered both the Bosch igniter (00415504) and the Frigidaire (5303935066). Bosch and Thermador are the same company. The Bosch igniter looked like the existing Thermador except the connecting wires were too short. Therefore I used the Frigidaire/Electrolux... Read more
The Vent Control Button is an OEM component specifically designed for select Bosch downdraft ventilation ranges. Pressable from the countertop, its reliable switch operates the vent position. Precise guidance aligns ductwork airflows.
Symptoms of a faulty control button may include intermittent or unresponsive vent movement. Over-activation degrades contacts requiring change.
Causes of a bad button relate to typical contact wear reducing conductivity. Splashes introduce moisture necessitating replacement over time.
Causes of a bad vent control button involve:
This OEM Bosch part is also compatible with some Thermador, Dacor, and Viking downdraft ventilation ranges. Replace to maintain convenient vent management directing smoke and odors safely outdoors.
Found replacing the switch to be doable, but it was quite a delicate operation. This was for a Thermador range with a broken downdraft switch. It required the removal of 5 small screws which could easily be fumbled and dropped down where it would be difficult, if not impossible to retrieve. Two of the screws were facing the back, so it was a blind operation to remove and replace the screws. Required an offset screwdriver, as space was tight. So, be EXTREMELY careful to not drop the screws and... Read more
Jet holder securely houses the orifice assembly on gas range burners. Replace if cracked, corroded, or heat-damaged. Ensures proper gas flow and ignition.
First and foremost, don't believe everything you see on Youtube. In order to get to the gas solenoid that feeds the burner you MUST take the entire top off that side of the range. Remove the grates and burner tops. You will see 2x 20mm brass nut, or so it appears, that hold each burner in place on the splash/drip pan. It is not just a nut, it is a venturi that threads down into what is called the jet holder. You may get a socket on it and think you are getting it loose but, more than likely you... Read more
The Bulb is an OEM part for Bosch ovens. This component provides illumination inside the oven, allowing you to easily monitor the cooking process without opening the door and losing heat.
Causes of a bad bulb can include filament burnout due to extended use, electrical issues that cause power surges, or physical damage from accidental impacts.
Symptoms of a bad bulb include:
This OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau, and some Kenmore models.

The Bake Element is an OEM part for Bosch ranges and ovens. It is responsible for generating heat through its calibrated heating coils to bake and roast foods evenly. Consistent heat production is essential for optimal cooking performance.
Causes of a bad bake element can include coil failure due to deterioration over time and heat exposure, cracks or damage to insulators, or interrupted electrical flow.
Symptoms of a failed bake element include:
This genuine OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau and select Kenmore models.
We bought both bottom elements for each oven. They installed and now work PERFECTLY! Thank you! Read more
Fix a burner that won't light or sparks weakly with this gas cooktop igniter. Remove the burner cap and brass nut to access. Takes 5-10 minutes to install.
Appliance pros had the part. Incredibly, we received it the next day. They sent a confirming e mail with general instructions on how to replace it. Worked like a charm! Our's is a Bosch unit. The retaining brass nut in the center of the burner is an odd size-20 mm which I did not have among my many automotive metric tools. The local Auto Zone though had a 20 mm socket. Once that was removed the procedure would have been a breeze except the retaining screw on the old igniter was frozen. ... Read more
Fix a range that won't reach set temperature or shows temperature error codes. This sensor monitors oven heat and signals the control board to adjust.
Replaced the bake element. The manufacturer did not leave enough wire to pull the connections into the oven so I had to open the back and locate the connections. Read more
Oven not heating or baking unevenly? The bake element provides bottom heat for cooking. Easy DIY repair—just 2 screws and wire connectors. 10-15 minutes.
I took the model number of the oven and typed that in followed by replacement backing element.there was a photo of the element that matched the original. They provided an online tutorial as to how to install it. It was very easy because the electrical contacts at the ends of the new baking element slid right into the electrical contacts inside the oven cavity. The only thing that you had to be careful about was loosing the electrical contacts deep inside the oven. But I didn't see it as much of... Read more

Oven won't light or takes forever to preheat? A weak igniter is the likely cause. This glow igniter heats to ignite gas burners. DIY install in 30-60 min.
Replaced both ignitors. Since I was working on the range I also overhauled the final 2 of the 6 burners on the stove top. Venturi tube and jet nuts were frozen and could not remove drip tray for cleaning and access to ignitor clip. Had to drill out Venturi tubes using a tapered bore bit. Used Dremmel with cutting wheel to remove jet nut. This range has been heavily used since new for 16 years. Works like new, again. Read more
Oven not heating? A failed bake element is the most common cause. This part generates heat for baking in the main oven cavity. Moderate DIY repair.
First guess was the Bake Element, but I ran my hands around it and didn't feel any clue of a break/failure in the element. Further research indicated that the Hot Wire Relay is the next likely cause, that was really bad news because that part is unavailable anywhere. Swapped the H1 and H2 wires on the Hot Wire Relay, and found that Broil still worked, which indicated that the relay was good and the Bake Element was the likely cause. This was good news because that Hot Wire Relay is made... Read more

Replacement inner glass panel for oven doors. Installs between door layers. Needed when original glass is cracked, chipped, or shattered from impact.
Removing the oven door, carefully taking it apart to remove the broken panel, cleaning everything, putting in the new glass panel and reassambling took me about an hour. To get to the glass panel takes unscrewing about 20 screws. Not too difficult to do. Assembly is easier than disassembly. Read more

This meat probe sensor is a temperature-sensing device that inserts into food while it cooks in the oven, allowing the oven to monitor the internal temperature and automatically stop cooking when the target temperature is reached. It connects to a jack inside the oven cavity via a heat-resistant cable. Replace this probe if your oven no longer reads the food temperature accurately, displays a probe error code, or if the cable or tip is visibly damaged.
