I followed the instructions provided by customers that previously described how they made the same repair. In addition; I ended up placing a small piece of scotch tape on the door to hold the spring in place, while I tried to place the end of the door into the hole. The spring fell off the first few times that I tried assembling it, so the tape kept the spring in place.
