First of all Appliance Parts Pros is the best!! I would not have had the confidence to make this repair myself without their outstanding videos and Q&A sections on their website. Whirlpool 6" Drip Pan
Genuine Ge part
By: Ge
Part Number: WB32X107

The 6 Inch Small Drip Pan is an OEM part for GE ranges and stovetops. It is designed to sit beneath the burner element to catch spills and drips that occur during cooking. This helps keep the stovetop clean and reduces the risk of burns and fire by preventing spills from coming into direct contact with the heating elements. For the 8-inch large drip bowl order WB32X106

Symptoms of a bad Drip Pan include:

  • Rust or corrosion that can no longer be cleaned off
  • Warping or changes in shape that prevent it from fitting properly under the burner

Common causes for replacing the drip pan include prolonged exposure to high heat which can cause discoloration and deformation, as well as accidental damage during cleaning or heavy use.

This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.

Whirlpool Oven Igniter

By: Whirlpool
Part Number: 786324

The Oven Igniter is an OEM part for Whirlpool ovens. It is responsible for igniting the gas burner to produce heat, which is essential for baking and broiling. The igniter heats up to a high temperature and then sparks to ignite the gas, ensuring that the oven reaches and maintains the desired cooking temperature.

You should replace the oven igniter if it becomes faulty. Causes of a bad igniter can include electrical failures, wear and tear from regular use, or damage from exposure to high temperatures. A malfunctioning igniter can prevent the oven from heating properly or at all.

Symptoms of a bad oven igniter include:

  • The oven not heating up or taking longer than usual to reach the desired temperature
  • The igniter glowing but failing to ignite the gas burner
  • No visible glow from the igniter when the oven is turned on
  • The oven producing a clicking sound without igniting

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and some Kenmore models.

This part fixes the following symptoms
  • Little to no heat when broiling
  • Little to no heat when baking
