One of the two springs on our 25-year-old dishwasher broke with a loud "bang" five days ago. This is an easy fix, involving the removal of only the bottom access panel (two screws). However, we have a wooden insert covering the door, so that the dishwasher matches the cabinets. This makes the door MUCH heavier than normal, and so the door springs are not stock, but are heavy-duty.
I didn't know what springs to buy.
