I had a problem with the drain pump on my Kenmore HE3 and I replaced it using a drain pump I ordered from APP. That fixed that problem but once I started running the washer I started getting a FH error code. I looked it up and found that it was a problem with the washer not filling properly. Watched u tube video. Ordered replacement water inlet valve and new hoses. Dismantled washer and replaced defective valve and installed new hoses. The repair went very easily and the washer worked perfectly as a result. Read more

Here's the story. All my appliances except the dryer broke. Yeah. talk about bad luck. First I tried to fix the refrigerator. Replaced both motherboard and inverter board. Now it wakes up but the compressor does not kick in. Need another part. The washer, well I have to pull out the sink to get enough room to pull out the washer to fix it. Replaced pump and discharge hose. Was amazed at how fast we got the parts. Wished the discharge hose end in sink was like original. Had to take off old, clean out glue and attach to new. This was hardest part of deal. Read more

Purchased the WPL 40922 hose kit. This kit is reasonably priced and has everything you might need to retrofit to most legacy Whirlpool brand washers. The fix went well and I also cleared the water solids build-up on the fill nozzle at the inlet to the wash tub. Read more

- Didn't see any other leaks in machine. No grinding transmission noise. Assumed seal on transmission shaft was bad, since it was a central leak down the rotor. It was a little more difficult to dissemble than the video showed, but not too bad. Got it all back together and seems to be working well. No leaks yet. Didn't need washer in parts diagram - was already on the transmission. Also the drain pump filter was not necessary, it can just be cleaned. Read more
