It was easy to remove the old top and replace it with the new.
the only thing we couldn't find the heat resistant silicone strip that goes between the counter top and the glass cook top.
we ended up reusing the old one.
maybe it should come with the replacement top?

When I first went online to search for the cooktop, I pulled up the picture and thought "this won't work for me because the big hole is in the upper right and mine needed to be in the lower left. So I went to the appliance place here in Honolulu to order a black top and they said it didn't come in black. So back to ApplianceParts Pros I went.
