I had to replace the outer door panel, the metal part of the door, bottom 3/4 that attaches to the controls panel. The hardest part was removing the screws in the hinge, since you need gorilla strength to pull it downward while removing the mounting screws that connect the door to the hinge. The metal was broken completely, so the hinge was in the closed position. I used a regular phillips screwdriver and a newer version of a cross between a phillips and an allen wrench. Pretty easy fix with replacement part from AppliancePartsPros -- but there's a catch: The eight control buttons, not the on/off button, all look alike, but they need to be installed in a certain order for them to work once you install the panel.
