Dishwasher Panel Parts

Pretty easy fix with replacement part from AppliancePartsPros -- but there's a catch: The eight control buttons, not the on/off button, all look alike, but they need to be installed in a certain order for them to work once you install the panel. No instructions for this and the repair video (by the tech Simon) does NOT make this clear. It took a lot of time and repeated installations to figure this out. The old fascia had broken and been torn off. I should have saved the buttons from it, but I didn't know that I'd be repairing it - I figured I would have to replace the unit. Ordered the part (surprised it was even available after such a long time). It took my wife and myself to figure out the how to do the replacement..since there were no specific instructions. We discoved it along the way and did not break anything else. Took about 15 to 20 minutes to get it done. We would have been spending $700 to replace the dishwasher had the part not been available. Watched YouTube video(s) on bosch dishwasher door repair to find out how to take the panel off. Found the part (pictures VERY helpful), ordered it and had it in hand in 2 days! Following those videos, was able to change out the panel in under 30 minutes. Read more

I searched the internet for the part on a Saturday morning, found it on AppliancePartsPros.com, ordered it, and the excellent customer service from an internet company immediately impressed me. An email informed me that it would be shipped Monday, with expected arrival in, on avg., 1.7 working days. A FedEx tracking number enabled me to keep up with the shipment. Searched out and found AppliancePartsPros.com had one of best prices, and relative quick delivery. Received part in just a couple days. Unpackaged part and located correct torx screw driver. Removed 6 screws holding lower front panel. Next removed all screws holding broken mounting tabs that were from original facia panel. Removed and transfered all plastic buttons, and crome handle trim from original facia panel to new one. Attached new facia panel to diswasher door frame, and finally... Read more

It's an easy fix. Just remove the two screws holding it in place. Then it will be easier to remove the supply line. Disconnect the quick-connect wires. Remove the rubber hose and clamp. Attach the rubber hose and clamp to new part, attach supply line, attach wires and then screw back into place with screws. Turn on the water and test for leaks. Read more

I ordered both the front long panel and the lower access panel in the new color. I watched the instructional videos which were very helpful. I was very careful to remember where all the screws belonged as I took it apart. The panel required an extra small attachment to fit due to a change in design.
