This is a 6 x 5/16" machine screw used to fasten appliance panels and components. It replaces worn or missing fasteners to restore secure mounting and eliminate loose or rattling parts. What it does:
- Secures trim, panels, brackets or components in refrigerators, ranges, washers and dryers
- Stops loose or vibrating panels and rattling during operation
- Replaces stripped, corroded or missing screws for proper alignment and fit
- Helps maintain safe, stable mounting of electrical and mechanical parts
What's included: One 6 x 5/16" screw. Install notes:
- Disconnect power and water before servicing the appliance
- Use the correct screwdriver or driver bit to avoid stripping the head
- Thread carefully and do not overtighten to prevent stripping or cracking surrounding parts
- Keep removed hardware organized and compare new screw to the old one before installation
