Holds the lint filter screen securely in place inside your dryer door. Replace if cracked, broken, or worn from years of use to properly secure the filter.
Ordered grille cover and filter guide to replace broken parts. Easily removed grille cover and filter guide with star tip screw driver. Broken parts slipped or popped right out. Slid in new filter guide then grille cover. Put the 4 screws back in. Had a little difficulty matching up screw holes in the plastic parts with the holes in the metal of the dryer itself but once they all lined up the repair was quickly finished. Took me about a half hour but probably shouldn't have. Really was a... Read more
This side venting kit allows you to redirect your dryer's exhaust air out through a side wall instead of the back of the unit. It includes the necessary ductwork and connections to safely route hot, moist air outside your home. Use this kit when your dryer installation requires side venting due to space constraints or structural limitations.
This was a pretty simple install if you know how to take apart your dryer. I have a kenmore dryer which is identical to an LG dryer. My kenmore dryer was actually made by LG at that time. You can find the specific model on youtube and see how your dryer comes apart. While doing this i cleaned all the inner parts of my dryer. The parts that come in the kit can be bought at home depot for much less but you don't know what length you need. I ordered the kit so I could have the back plate and... Read more

Replacement air duct assembly with mesh screen for dryers. Installs between drum and heater. Replace if screen is burnt, cracked, melted, or missing.
It was easy to find the part on appliance parts pros. Once I found it I studied the diagram and determined that there were 3 screws in the drum that needed to be removed. I disconnected power and then removed 3 interior screws. Once I did that I removed the back cover and removed the single screw on the bottom side of the air duct that held it in place connected to the heat tube. I then reversed disassembly. I want to tell you this is a 2 person job. In order to assemble it you need to... Read more

Routes airflow inside your dryer to maintain circulation and temperature. Replace if cracked, warped, rusted, or blocked to restore proper air path.
This is the duct assembly - sometimes called the heater box - that houses or channels heated air from the heating element into the dryer drum. It directs airflow so clothes dry efficiently and evenly. Replace this assembly if it is cracked, warped, or damaged, which can cause poor drying performance, unusual noises, or overheating issues.

Dryer duct that routes hot air through the ventilation system. Replace if cracked, warped, scorched, or causing debris to attach to clothing during cycles.
I replaced the duct with the "new improved" replacement part. Hopefully it will solve the problem! Of course one of about twenty screws was unrecoverable. Had to grind the head off! Otherwise quite easy. Read more
6-foot flexible metal duct connects dryer exhaust to wall vent. Replace if crushed, torn, disconnected, or missing to restore proper airflow path.
Our heating element had broken coils. Typed model number in to see which parts were likely to fix the problem. AppliancePartsPros told me exactly which parts to try. For the cost, it seemed the best decision was to order the complete Heating Element Assembly, rather than risk needing the two smaller parts as well. Decided to order new vent as well. The parts arrived super fast and the on-site video showed step-by-step how to install the new part. From diagnosis to drying laundry in less than 48... Read more
Relocates your dryer's exhaust vent from rear to left, right, or bottom. Includes elbows, duct, and instructions. Replace when changing installation.
Used the Wpl. Vent Kit, 4-way. This is not a quick, easy job. You have to disassemble the dryer, removing the entire front, door, drum, and control panel. Take your time and take pictures as you go so you can get it all back together again after installing the conversion kit. It will take you at least an hour, and you need room to work. Also, remember that after converting the dryer over to left or right vent, you now have a wider dryer with the ducting sticking out the side. (4") Make sure it... Read more
This is a lint duct housing kit that directs airflow from the dryer drum through the lint screen area and toward the exhaust vent. It forms the internal ductwork that channels warm, lint-laden air so it passes through the lint filter before exiting the dryer. Replace this housing if it is cracked, melted, or damaged, which can cause poor drying performance, longer cycle times, or lint buildup inside the dryer cabinet.

The dryer vent close elbow connects and redirects the exhaust ductwork at tight angles, typically located where the vent exits the dryer or building. Replace if you notice reduced airflow, lint buildup, visible damage, or if the connection becomes loose or detached.
I went on line and to get info on what to do, which was to test the 3 components on the heating element assembly. No reading on the thermal fuse indicated it had blown. That and cleaning out the vent system (which is to be done yearly) solved the problem. I thank God that the fuse blew or the lint would have caught fire. CLEAN OUT THAT VENT YEARLY Read more
