This thermistor is a temperature sensor that monitors the internal temperature of the refrigerator or freezer compartment and sends readings to the control board. Checked compressor windings - ok. Start relay looked no rattle or burning. Start capacitor seamed ok but hard to check. No 120VC to start relay at any time. Ordered thermistor, and electronic control unit. Figuring it was a bad thermistor not telling the ECU it was warm and to turn on the compressor.
