On top of this they shipped my parts fast enough that less than 12 hrs later they arrived, which allowed me to get my machine up and running way faster than the other options I had available.... Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Leaks from around the door and from the pump motor   Samuel M. • Sudbury , MA • January 12, 2016

1. To fix the leaks from around the door, I replaced the upper and lower door seals. These were purchased in a separate transcation, so they are not the parts shown here. The upper door seal worked as intended, but the lower seal would not stay in place on the lower edge of the door during a wash. Therefore I cleaned the grease and detergent off the old seal, and installed using silicone sealer/adhesive. Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Loud dishwasher producing dirty dishes   Leon F. • Sylmar , CA • November 11, 2015

I nearly shelled out for a new Kitchenaid when I remembered APP and entered my model # just for fun. The interactive diagrams and install videos showed where all the parts "should" be, mine were badly disintegrated, so I replaced the damaged ones and swapped out all of the other easily accessible seals and bearings (also gave it a good and very disturbing cleaning). My parts surprisingly arrived next day and for about $40, the dishwasher is quiet and works like new again. Read more

Since the fridge was an older model, it had screws behind the gaskets. First, I removed the freezer door, then I loosened the screws and removed the old gasket.
