Surfed the web, got advice, ordered the part, shut-off the electric power, disassembled back panel of door, removed wires for old switch and installed onto new electric door latch. Reassembled door panel - it is a little tricky, need some patience to get it all together, but it does go easily. Read more

I ordered new latch and 2 new screws ( imagine not having the screws). I put latch in place and with a phillips screw driver attached 2 screws. Tada works like new. If the owner would have just done this herself, I wouldnt have a new set of infinity front loaders for under $300. So thrilled that I can get replacement parts for my appliances. Read more

So I noticed a few months ago that the dishwasher door felt a lot heavier than it used to. Then just recently I opened it and heard something snap and the door came crashing down onto my foot! Ouch!! After reviewing a few blogs it was clear that Frigidaire is knows there is a problem. One of the blogs recommended AppliancePartsPros.com for a new pressure sensor switch and a water inlet valve. Ordered the part and it was shipped that day, as promised. Pulled the dishwasher out (which was the hardest part of the repair).
