I examined the inner burner heads and determined that two of the most frequently used burners were warped and were not making good contact with the burner base. It's a GE Profile series stove about 10 -12 years old. We pulled the oven out installed the new light assembly and put it on. Although the faceplate didn't cover the entire panel because the original was no longer available, it covered the necessary parts and looks WAY BETTER!
