The Switch/Wire Harness is an OEM part for GE gas cooktops featuring digital controls. It relays input signals between interactive panels and control modules.
Causes of failure involve physical stress cracks from repeated flexing, pinched wiring compromising conductivity, and insulation degradation over extended use.
Symptoms of a faulty harness include:
- Unresponsive burner/knob selections
- Inability to adjust flame heights or temperatures accurately
- Intermittent or unstable power to ignition/control systems
This OEM part is also compatible with Hotpoint and RCA gas cooktop models.
