This 3-speed blower switch controls the exhaust fan in your range hood, allowing you to select low, medium, or high airflow. Replacing a worn switch can restore dependable ventilation and proper speed control. What it does:
- Selects low, medium, or high fan speed by routing power to the blower motor
- Helps resolve a fan that will not run, runs only on one speed, or will not change speeds
- Can address a switch that feels loose, sticks, or works intermittently
What's included:
- 1 three-speed blower switch
Install notes:
- Disconnect power at the breaker before servicing
- Access the control area; note wire locations (or take a photo) and transfer wires to the new switch one at a time
- Ensure push-on terminals are fully seated and secure
- Test all fan speeds before reassembly
Also known as: range hood fan switch, blower speed selector
