Very easy fix. Remove oven door by just opening it slightly and pulling up. (an easy way to clean it too). Then, with a phillips screw driver, remove two screws holding the damaged element in place. Slowly pull the element toward the front a couple inched to expose the wires. Disconnect the wires (no tools needed), remove the old element and replace it with the new. Turned the power off. Lifted the oven door up and off.to make access easier and to clean an replace gasket.Then unscrewed the element brackets. Cleaned oven. Took oven door apart to replace gasket ,you have to separate the door halves to clean window and get the gasket out. This is where you better take pictures and notes.
